Show Track Overturns in Manti Canyon and Injures 14 WPA Workers A trucklcad of W P A workers skidded off the road and tipped over in Manti canyon Sunday night while the t.uck, driven by John Stulce of Mt. Pleasant, was attempting attempt-ing to pass a wagon. All 14 occupants occu-pants suffered injuries. The men were returning from iork on the new Manti culinary water wa-ter project. They were given first aid treatment in Manti and taken to their homes. Fred Schlapfer of Manti suffered two broken ribs. Charles Braith-waite, Braith-waite, also of Manti, had deep lacerations lacer-ations in his left arm.: Tva sen of Ephraimi, broken ankle and Rudolph Johnson of Ephraim, a prssible fracture of the pelvis. The other men, Herbert Sevy, Lee He rr.anscn, Void Decker and a Mr. Johansen of Ephraknv John Stulce, George Seely, Henry Ericksen, Ronald Ron-ald Frandson and Max Johansen of M';. Pleasant, had cuts and bruises about the head and face. |
