Show MORONI I By Special Correspondence i The members of the Junior So-rosis So-rosis Club entertained their husbands hus-bands at tneir annual Christmas parly at the home of Mr. and ivirs. Jaxe Anderson on Tuesaay uight, December 28th. The hostesses host-esses were Mrs. Harold Christen-ien, Christen-ien, Mrs. Earl TiUell, Mrs. Ei.ma iiiunm, M.s. Wiiour Cahocn and Mrs. Jake Anderson. The table tvas adorned with Christmas dec-jj, dec-jj, a lion. Turkey dinner was served oO sixteen couples after which tjames, Pmcchole and Bridge were enjoyed by all. Mr. and M.S. Virgil Blackham, of RuUi, Nevada are visiting relatives and friends in Moroni. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hiller of Salt Lake City spent New Years with Mr. and Mrs. Elmo L. Irons. M s. Eugene Pespain, Mrs. Lloyd Blackhatu, Mrs. H. E. Dice and Mrs. Loais Blackham were hostesses host-esses at .a Onristmas party entertaining enter-taining the Senior Sorosis Club and toeir partners Tuesday evening, eve-ning, December 28th at the Town House Hotel. Chicken dinner was served to thirty-one guests, after, which the remainder of the evening even-ing was spent playing Progressive Rjck. Mrs. Cleon Anderson and Roy Storey won high score prizes. Sheiad Blackham. Harris Yorga-sen, Yorga-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Nielson of McGill, Nevada, visited relatives rela-tives and friends in Moroni last week. The members of the Junior Sorosis So-rosis Club were entertained by their husbands on New Years Eve at a dinner party at -ue Town House Hotel, after which they "attended "at-tended the dance at Ye Olde Bungalow. Fifteen couples were present. The new city officials took office and were aworn in by Recorder Morgan Lamb at a special meeting meet-ing held Monday at eleven a. m. The officers are : Andrew L. Bradley, Brad-ley, Mayor; Marvin Anderson, four year councilman; Leo Morley, W. S. Anderson, Spafford Sumsion and Ace Blackham, two-year council-men; council-men; Sherman Christensen, recorder; re-corder; Mrs. Louise Monsen, treasurer. treas-urer. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Allred announce an-nounce the birth of a daughter. Mrs, Allred .was formerly- Miss Eva-neal Eva-neal Olsen of this city. Ferrin and Murray Justesen of McGill Nevada visited in Moroni part of last week. They came to attend funeral services for their grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Justen-sen. |
