Show Fountain Green Woman Passes Away at Home Mrs. Emma J. Robertson Madsen, Mad-sen, 67, wife of James Niels Madsen, Mad-sen, died at their home in Fountain Foun-tain Green, following a lingering illness. She was born in Fountain Green March 3, 1870, the daughter of Ne-phi Ne-phi Robertson and Eliza Pennington Penning-ton Robertson. She was married to James Niels Madsen, November 25, 1891, in the Manti L. D. S. temple. tem-ple. She served as a Relief Society teacher for many years and was always an active worker in the L. D. S. church. Mrs. Madsen is survived by her husband; three sons and six daughters, Mrs. Eldora Wilkey, Mrs. Gertrude Coulson, Grace and Ralph Madsen of Fountain Green; Monte Madsen of Moroni; Ross and Mabel Madsen of Nephi, Mrs. Elvina Pierce, of Manti, and Mrs. Evelyn Biaithwaite of Spanish Fork; two brothers, Hyrum Robertson. Rob-ertson. Salt Lake City, and Edward Robertson, Paul, Idaho; five sisters. sis-ters. Mrs. Kate Allred of Fountain Green; Mrs. Elvina Madsen of Or-iand, Or-iand, California; Mrs. Effle Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, Rupert, Idaho; Mrs. Josie Anderson, Overton, Nevada; Mrs. Clara Wilcox of Rupert, Idaho. Also surviving are nine grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services will be held today to-day (Friday) at 1 p. m. in the Foutain Green L. D. S. ward chapel cha-pel with Bishop Irvin P. Oldroyd officiating. Interment will be in the Fountain Green city cemetery under direction direc-tion of Jacobs Mortuary. |
