Show Local tCC News Items Seven Utah Juniors were going through necessary steps to be enrolled en-rolled in the CCC at the local CCC camp Wednesday, prior to going to FeiTon, Utah, where they will be stationed. Mr. Tom M. Young, Superintendent Superintend-ent of this camp, returned from Albuqurque, New Mexico, last weekend, week-end, after spending the holidays there. Mr. Young brought his wife back with him to take up residence in Mt. Pleasant. Thirty-fcur North Dakota men will arrive at the local CCC Camp some time during January to replace re-place the men that left on the troup trran a snort while back. Mr. Ross Roselle, Senior Foreman Fore-man at this camp, was transferred to Leeds, Utah, last week. Mr. Roselle Ro-selle will continue with his work at the Leeds CC Camp. Mr. Scarlett and Mr. Bigler, Foremen Fore-men at the camp, spent the Christmas Christ-mas holidays in Arizona visiting wilh their families. They returned to camp Tuesday. Enrollees Stansfield and Forness drove to St. George, Utah last week end and transacted business at the Leeds CCC camp. They returned re-turned to camp the following day. A camp improvement - project commenced Wednesday morning at the local CCC Camp under the able supervision of Foreman Bigler. Russell Stansfield, who has been ps'forming the duties of SCS clerk for the past year, left Monday for Snow College where he will resume re-sume his studies at that school. Army Truck Driver Richard Olson Ol-son drove to Salt Lake City this week, going down after a load of equipment for the camp. Enrollee Huett accompanied htmi. j Ricllard O'Neii. who sustained an injury while working on one of the projects at this camp, was sent to the Station Hospital at Fort Douglas, Doug-las, Utah, last week. Mike Prichard, assistant to the engineer of this camp, and Enrollee Tousainnt spent Friday transacting transact-ing business at the SCS office in Salt Lake City. |
