Show Typical Summer Weather Last Week in PI. Grove Weather conditions for the week ending July 20 have continued con-tinued to be of the typical middle of 'the summer variety for the Pleasant Grove area. Hot days and warm, humid nights have prevailed throughout the full seven sev-en days. Daytime temperatures have continued well above 90 and the coolest night was a warm 57 degrees. de-grees. Precipitation for the week was practically nil with only 0.01 of an inch of rain falling locally. Some areas in the state, including Salt Lake City, received a few thundershowers; but statewide, It was another arid week. Luckily, both irrigation and culinary water supplies are holding hold-ing up well and no sprinkling restrictions re-strictions have been neccssa.ry as yet here in Pleasant Grove. Weeds are doing well in lawns and gardens, duo to heat and irrigation, ir-rigation, as most gardeners will testify. Crab grass Is raising Its ugly head, much to the disgust of all concerned. Apricot picking is in full swing and string beans are being processed pro-cessed at the local canning plant. The seers say that present conditions con-ditions will continue for some days to come.
