Commander Kay Jacobs upon his assignment as Commander of the Naval Eleotronic's Division, Provo, Utah Kay Jacobs Assumes Command Of Provo Naval Reserve Unit The Navy Department has just announced a change of command at Naval Eleotronic's Division, Provo. Lt. Commander Kay L. Jacobs has been ordered to command com-mand of the division, relieving Lt. Commander Dean Dangerfield. Lt. Commander Dangerfield will become be-come the local representative for the Commandment of the 12th Naval District. Lt. Commander Jacobs is cash- ier of the Bank of Pleasant Grove and vice president of the State Bank of Lehi. He is married to the former Joyoe Hamnett of Alpine and they and their four children reside in Pleasant Grove. Mr. Jacobs has a distinguished career in the Navy, serving as a naval flier during World War II and in the Naval Reserve since that time. He announces that his new staff is as follows: Lt. Keith Christensen, executive officer; Lt. Jackson B. Howard administrative administra-tive officer; Lt. Commander Grant A. Fisher, training officer; Lt. Sam Green, Communications Officer; Of-ficer; and Commander Paul H. Lambert, Supply Officer. Naval Electronic's Division 12-19 12-19 is engaged in the training of electronics, radar and radio personnel. per-sonnel. Mr. Jacobs states that the division has available billets for young men desiring training in these categories and who have a desire for naval experience. |
