Show Andersons Visit Fort Ord on Thanksgiving Dr. and Mrs. Grant Y. Anderson Ander-son and Paul returned Monday from a very pleasant trip to Fort Ord, Calif., where they spent the Thanksgiving Day and the weekend week-end with their son, Captain Grant W. Anderson, his wife and children Susan and Larry. They report a most delightful visit. Captain Anderson had made arrangements for time off to visit with his parents and he and his family showed their visitors over the Fort, visiting places of interest. inter-est. On Sunday they attended the San Jose Quarterly LDS Conference, and had the privilege of meeting boys from home, David Radmall, Thomas Hillman and Max Ferre. The LDS Church, in looking after the welfare of their members stationed sta-tioned at Fort Ord, sponsors the busses on which the boys ride to from church services. Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and Paul report a most enjoyable and worthwhile worth-while visit. Captain Anderson, who is in the dental section of the medical corps of the army is enjoying the work very much. Dr. and Mrs. Anderson and Paul left the San Francisco Airport by plane Monday and three hours later landed at the Salt Lake Airport. |
