Show Lindon Locals The Lindon Lions benefit dance held Saturday evening was a tremendous tre-mendous success and drew a record rec-ord crowd, according to Lion president pres-ident Joseph Swenson. Mr. Swenson Swen-son says that the club is able to finance a gas pipeline to the park building and will stage another dance in the near future to help pay for a gas furnace for the building. Lila Wells, 12, who was bom Nov. 15, celebrated a belated birthday birth-day party at her home Friday with eight of her friends. Sharing Shar-ing miscellaneous g-ames and refreshments re-freshments carrying out a fall color col-or scheme were Kathleen Johnson, Kathie Young, Nancy Stewart, Alaine Fowlke, Libby Ramsdell, Judy Butler, Laurel McEwan, and Lauana Illingsworth. Mrs. Irene Wright of American Fork gave a family dinner recently re-cently in honor of her sister, Mrs. Reed Gillman, who celebrated her birthday Sunday. Following a visit Sunday afternoon with her son, Bob, and his wife. Mrs. Gillman, her husband, and Mrs. Jennie All-red, All-red, ate "dinner out." Enjoying a 15-day furlough at home with his parents and friends is Jo Lee Ash. Jo, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ash, is attached to the 38th Infantry Regiment at Fort Lewis, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Ercan- brack celebrated their 18th wedding wed-ding anniversary Saturday by spending a relaxful evening at home with their family. |
