Show Mrs. Rulon Wells Surprised on Birthday On her birthday last Friday Mrs. Rulon Wells was pleasantly surprised sur-prised when a group of nine of her friends calLed at her home and joined with her husband, her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Printha Fautin of Orem, and her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Butler of Orem, for an evening of fun. Arriving later la-ter in the evening to help their sister celebrate were Mrs. Well's brother and his wife, also from Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fautin. Along with many lovely gifts, all the trimmings for a delicious hamburger supper were brought by Leida and Preston Atwood, Irene and Earl Thompson, Virginia and Ted Young, Elvie Erickson, Virginia Vir-ginia Wigginton and Howard Jensen. Jen-sen. Three beautifully decorated birthday cakes, one purchased by Mrs. Well's husband and the other oth-er two made by her mother and Mrs. Erickson, added a festive note to the occasion. Mrs. George Swan, Mrs. Well's former employer, and six of his employees honored Mrs. Wells with birthday gifts also. During the evening the group of 17 persons played the game of Bingo with prizes for all. |
