Green celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with a social at the home of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. William L. Green Wednesday. Those present included Messrs and Mesdames Arnold Green, William Will-iam Green, Owen Green, Lamar Green, Leonard Green, H. A. Laur-sen, Laur-sen, Amos Green, Sam Bezzant and Howard Ferguson. 25 Years Ago The local Lions Club held a "house warming" party in their newly decorated club room Thursday Thurs-day night. Music was furnished by the Ellna Clark, Lavon Jensen and Martha Jones string trio. Prizes consisting of flowering plants were awarded to Mrs. Irving Ir-ving Johnson, Mrs. Joseph Dicker-son, Dicker-son, Mrs. O. E. Grua, Mrs Josiah Kemp, Mrs. Lyean Johns, m, and Mrs. J. H. Walker. 25 Years Ago The Junior High Operetta "Sing Lo" is ready for production accord- ing to Director Ford M. Paulson. The cast of characters includes: Annie Gardiner, Mildred Fowlke, Whit Roundy, Kayle Linebaugh, Winefred Johnson, Canma Shoell, Donna Giilman, and Ray Mills. 25 Y'ears Ago The son of Joseph Nerdin of Lindon attempted to shoot a dog last Thursday. Instead he shot his father in the leg. Dr. O. E. Grua was called and gave medical aid. The wound is not considered serious. |
