Show Fathers and Sons Banquet Scheduled For PI. Grove Scouts Six hundred Boy Scouts, Scout-ers Scout-ers and Executives are expected to join in the festivities at the annual Fathers and Sons Banquet on Wednesday Februai-y 8. The affair af-fair which is being planned for eleven-year-olds through the Explorer Ex-plorer program is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. in the Timpanogos Stake House. According to the committee in charge, the food will be plentiful and of He-man calibre. The menu will feature steak, potatoes, and gravy, fruit salad, vegetables, hard rolls and butter, pie and ice cream. "Where in the world can you get a meal like that for 50 cents," said Daryl Huish, chairman of the Timpanogos District Scout Committee, Com-mittee, who are in general charge of the affair. During the evening awards will be presented to Star, Life and Eagle Scouts, and. in addition all Scouts will be honored who have made any advancements during the past year. A program of entertaining numbers num-bers will follow the dinner featuring featur-ing talks by visiting scout executives. execut-ives. Every Scout and Scouter of the Timpanogos District is cordiially invited to attend. Assisting Chairman Huish in supervisiing the event are committee commit-tee members, Vilace Radmall, Reed H. Walker, Ray Pulley, John Hilton and Albert V. Jones. |
