Show Collision Injures Five on Highway 91 West of P. G. Five youths were seriously injured in-jured and hospitalized in a two-car two-car head-icm crash near the home of Glen Mathews on Highway 91, early last Saturday morning. PI. Grove Police Officer Ike Taylor fixed fix-ed the 'time of the accident at 12:35 a.m. The injured! were: Tracy Gardner, 19, Covina, California,' Cali-fornia,' driver of the southbound car, broken pelvis, fractured hip. Reported in "serious" condition at American Fork Hospital.. Wayne Carlton, 18, Lehi, driver of the northbound car. Head injury, in-jury, broken jaw, reported in "fair" condition at Salt Lake LDS Hospital. Hos-pital. Lynette Peterson, Lehi, severe face wounds, in "serious" condition condi-tion at American Fork Hospital. Duane Breeze, 18, Lehi, head and face lacerations, in "serious" condition, con-dition, American Fork Hospital. Linda Smith, 16, Lehi, leg injury, in-jury, "serious" condition at American Amer-ican Fork Hospital. According to Mr. Taylor ' the crash occurred when the car driven driv-en by Mr. Gardner apparently orossed the center line in the path of the Carlton vehicle. |
