Seminary Names Officers for Year, Sidney Beveridge Prexy by Carol Gay Rees Seminary officers for the year of 1957-58 were announced Sun-i Sun-i day night at the Seminary Grad- j uation Exercises. Those chosen are very capable and outstanding1 with necessary qualifications to help the Seminary complete another successful suc-cessful year. Elected as president was Sidney Beveridge. Ho is the som of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beveridge. He has b?en active in fastball and track and plays in the band. lie will be a jiuiior at the high school next year. Steven Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Walker, was elected vice president. Steven was Junior High Studentbody president and he also has been active in sports. Chosen as secretary was Ardith Walker. Ardith is know for her outstanding work in dramatics. She is a member of the Pep Club and Thespians. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Reed O. Walker. Marilyn Thome is the new historian. his-torian. She has played in the orchestra or-chestra and is also a member of the Thespians and Pep Club. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thome are her 'parents. The new reporter will be Karen Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Robinson. Karen was the secretary of the Sophomore Sopho-more class. She sings in the A Cappella Choir and is a Thespian member. Inasmuch as there will be, few Seniors in- Seminary next year, Don Hales will be their representative. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Clif-ford Hales. We would like to express appreciation apprec-iation and thanks to the outgoing officers. They have done outstanding outstand-ing work and helped make this year one o fthe best. |
