Show Reception Held on Thursday Honors Mewiywed Couple A lowly autumn theme furnished furnish-ed the background for the well-plunncd well-plunncd open house reception in t:ie Kiloi-Fulh Ward Thursday evening ev-ening wi;en Mr .and Mrs. Doyle Young- entertained for their daughter daugh-ter Margirette and Dean E. Chris-tensen. Chris-tensen. Assisting the bridal couple in greeting friends were their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Young and Mr. and M;s. Ertmann Christensen, the onue s attendants, Linda Dawn Y'oung, maid of honor, anfl Judy Robinson, Carol Thomas, Conine Partridge, Carol Pulley, Lolita Stevens; Junior bridesmaid was Mary Potter. Dale Thomas assumed assum-ed best man duties. For her marriage the bride donned don-ned an exquisite gown of French imported taffeta, modeled with fitted bodice, with Sabrina neckline neck-line and long pointed sleeves, the full skirt falling into a hush-train. Her veil of sheerest illusion fell from a dainty crown of seed pearls. She carried a gorgeous white or- j chid nestled in roses. Her attendants wore similar designed de-signed gowns in soft autumn shades and held bouquets of autumn au-tumn leaves and large bronze mums.. The bride's mother chose a gown of embossed crepe while Mrs. Christensen wore a blue and green silk paisley print. Both pinned talisman roses on their shoulders. Ushers were Wally Young, Mitchell Mit-chell Rogers and Jan Christensen. Mi-, and Mrs. Thelbert Atkinson and Bishop and Mrs. Lewis Har-mer Har-mer greeted guests at the door. At tiie punch bowl was Jean Llne-baugh, Llne-baugh, with Karen Belliston, Pat Moi'gan and Deanna Pendergraft assisting., Evelyn Robbins and Madge Peterson arranged the gift display. The couple were married Thursday Thurs-day morning in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have established a home in Provo, where Mr. Christensen Chris-tensen will continue his studies at Brigham Young University. |
