Show Bridal Shower for Young Bride Held on Saturday A bridal shower was held in honor hon-or of Yvonne Rees Hossner, a recent re-cent bride, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rees on Saturday, Sept. 20. The new Mrs. Hossner and her mother, Mrs. Theodore E. Rees. met friends in a lovely early fall setting in the gardens of the Rees home. Guests were served at tables laden lad-en with baskets of colored gold, I accented by fresh green grapes, beautiful artificial fruit and set off by tall, slender candles. Tasty refreshments of dainty little open-faced sandwiches, bonbons bon-bons and nut cups, and orange spiced punch were served from a nicely arranged buffet table. The bride's trousseau and gifts were on display. Miss Lois Steele, close friend of the bride, was at the guest book. Darlene Myers, Lois Fugal and Deanna Rees helped with the gift arranging, music and the buffet table. Roslyn Rees and Sherrie Humphries Hum-phries were the serving girls and Jolone Rees and Marianne Rees were the gift bearers. The young couple will maintain an apartment in Logan until Oct. 10. when they will leave for Georgia Geor-gia where Mr. Hossner will spend six months at Camp Benning. They then expect to return to Logan where Mr. Hossner will continue his studies at Utah State toward his Master's degree. |
