Show AAUW Hear Guest: Speaker at First Meeting of Year ! Gurit speakers at the opening meeting' of the American Association Associa-tion of University Women were I Lillian Booth and her daughter, I Lucille Bushnell of Proro. These vvonum provided a delightful evening even-ing by speaking of the importance impor-tance of AAITV.' and giving information infor-mation which can be used as a basis bas-is for study courses during the year. The group were so interested that it was decided to p"1'cnase one of the study courses and use It Turing ire coming year. LaRee Radniall, accompanied by Rosalie Jacklin sang "Bless This House" and "My Own America" to further add to the enjoyment of the evening. Aftor the meeting, which was held in Central School, a Lasty lunch was served by hostesses Zola Blackhurst, Ruth Bezzant and Leone Le-one Told to guests and members. Others present were Thiel Roberts, Mildred Ferre, Marjorie Holdaway, Emily Pederson. Margaret Hayes, Jennie G lea son, Deane Paulson, Bethel Allred, Janet Pulsipher, Eva Reimschiissel,, Ramona Jacob and Winona Kirk. |
