Show All Arrangements Made For Lindon Community Fair Events All arrrangements are made for the prime Beef barbecue and the Indian program that will be sponsored spon-sored by the Lindon Lions Club the evening of August 28 at the Lindon Park in conjunction with the Lindon Community Fair. These final arrangements were made on Friday evening at the regular meeting of the Lindon Lions Club. The meeting was conducted by Oscar Lee Swenson. All committees commit-tees reported on the progress of each assignment. Harold B. Makin will supervise the barbecue which will commence at 5:00 p.m. It will be a pit barbecue barbe-cue cooded with special hard wood and apple wood, served with a special sauce and all other necessary necess-ary trimmings to make it most tasty. At 7:00 p.m. approximately 50 Indians from White Rocks will furnish several special dance numbers num-bers in full costume. This is indeed a colorful program and most entertaining. enter-taining. The public is invited to come and enjoy it. All persons holding a ticket on the Welsh Pinto Pin-to Pony, automatic washing machine mach-ine or bicycle or a ticket for a barbecue sandwich will be permitted permit-ted to attend the program free. Following the program the club will conduct the drawing for the lucky ticket holders on the aforementioned afore-mentioned prizes. Besides the business conducted the club enjoyed a tasty dinner served in the quiet atmosphere of the Lindon Park area. |
