Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Williams are visaing his parents Mr. and Mrs. Len Miller this week. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson of Provo are happy over the arrival of heir first son, at the Utah Valley Val-ley Hospital on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Fugal and children of Midvale -visited Tuesday with Mr. Fugal's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Fugal. Irwin Smith returned this week from Fort " Lewis Washington, where he visited with his brother, Private Leon Smith. Mrs. Ira Christensen and little daughter Mary Beth of Great Falls, Montana, are visiting with tneir parents and grandparents, Mr. and' Mrs. Jos. S. Walker. ' ,;' Mr. and Mrs. Raymond F. Peterson Peter-son and daughter Arline, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomsa Williams of Spanish Fork were guests of Mr. Petersons mother Mrs. Martin Peterson and family on Monday evening. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sumsion and George Moore, of Caliente, Nevada, are visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sumsion. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Foutz and two children of Sheridan, Wyoming visited here a few days this week, with Mr. Foutz's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foutz and other relatives and friends. Mis's Thelma Gillman and Miss Edna Gillman entertained Miss Elda MayView at a dinner and theatre party in Provo Monday . evening'. The occaion being Miss I Mayhew's birthday anniversary. On Tuesday in the Lindon Ward Relief Society meeting, Miss Hanson Han-son of the Utah Light and Power Co. gave a talk and demonstration demonstrat-ion on the use and care of electrical equipment. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin McDanie; spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. McDaniel's sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robertson. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Day and daughter Carolynnne of Salt Lake City visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Day. Miss Josephine West returned home Monday after spending two wek with Mr. and Mrs. Dale West and baby in Provo. D. A. West, Mrs. Everett West, " and baby Paul and Miss Beverly West, all of Salt Lake City spent Sunday visiting with relatives in Pleasant Grove. All grades in the Central School held Halowe'en parties on Friday. Dressed in colorful costumes each group paraded through the other rooms causing much merriment and amusement for the entire school. Mrs. Fred Sumsion entertained one day last week in honor of the fifth birthday anniversary of her son Frank. The party room was decorated in Halloween colors and Hallowe'en spooks. The favors for the young guests as well as the dainty refreshments all carried out the same holiday theme. The children child-ren all came masked and costumed and a very jolly afternoon of games and pranks were enjoyed by these small guests: Carol and David ' Christensen, Marline, Carol and Gordon Smith D.icky, and Lucille Pearson, Harley and Don Hales, Gary anod Douglas Loomis, Gerry and Clifford Bradley, Larry and Ronnie Hanson, Eddie and Shervl Oscarson.
