Show GIRL FRIENDS ENTERTAIN .AT ShOWEK LAST WEDNES. The A. J. Rogers home in Lindon presented a gay scene Wednesday evening when a group of young ladies including, Misses Anna Lou Jlogers, La Kee Olson Betty Maxwell, Max-well, Leatrice Hatch, Lucile Halliday, Halli-day, Ruth Mills Alta May King, and Pauline Gunderson entertained .at a miscellaneous shower in honor .of Mrs. Eugene Strasburg, nee Joan West The rooms were beautifully de-.corated de-.corated in chrysanthemums which .gave a lovely background for the happy young girls assembled. Gam-es Gam-es were enjoyed and luncheon served. ser-ved. The youthful bride was the recipient reci-pient of many beautiful and useful gifts. Other guests were: Ethel May Fowler, Joyce Fugal, Carol Christiansen, Christ-iansen, Clela Gibson, Helen Winters, Wint-ers, Margaret Adams, Kathryn Olpin, Ol-pin, Coleen Mathews, Ludene Wag-staff, Wag-staff, Evalyn York, Maxine Nelson, Barbar Loader, Joyce Walker, Joan Walker, and .Norma King. The young hosteses were assisted assist-ed by Mrs. Rogers; Miss Marlyn King and Mis oris Jean Rogers assited in serving. Mrs. Strasburg, daughter of Mr., and Mrs. Lawrence West of this city was married Sunday to Eugene Strasburg, son of Mr. and Mrs.' George Strasburg gf Lehi. The ceremony was performed at the Tiome of the groom's parents. After the ceremony the immediate immed-iate family was entertained at the Strasburg home at a -wedding supper. sup-per. Local people attending were the brides father and her sister and "brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dankliff. The young couple will make their home in Leni. |
