Show New Telephone Manager Takes Position Robert B. Leiehman was transferred trans-ferred to American Fork from Provo this week and took over the duties as manager of the American Fork district of the Mountain States Telephone company. This district comprises American Fork, Lehi and Pleasant Grove exchanges. Mrs. Leishman succeeds A. W. Clyde, for the past 11 years manager here. Mr. Clyde has been transferred to Provo where he will be ths district cashier. Mr. Leishman has been with the company for 11 yeavs. '.'i- -st two of which he has sp"' "i Pr.wo. He is making arrange' for living accommodations hove and will move his wife to American -arrangements have been ompleted. The Leishmans, both husband and wife, have taken active parts in church and civic affairs in Salt Lake and Provo. Mrs. Leishman is a member of the primary bo'ard of Utah stake. American Fork welcomes the Leishman far'y and the people feel they will find the community to their liking. Mr. Clyde has been with the telephone company for the past 27 years. Hi; will have a month's vacation va-cation l'-fore assuming his new duties in Provo, and they will move to Provo when suitable accommodations accommoda-tions are secured. Mr. Clyde expressed ex-pressed , his regret at leaving American Fork. He has made many friends here who wish him the best of success in his new location. |
