Show County Farm Bureau Outing At Geneva Sat. The annual Utah County Farm Bureau outing wll be held Saturday, July 28, at Geneva resort it was announced an-nounced following a meeting of approximately ap-proximately one hundred Farm Bureau Bur-eau members Friday night in the city and county building. Dr. Richard R. Lyman will address ad-dress the group at the outing it was announced. j The program also will Include j two ball games, a tug-of-war, swimming, swim-ming, horse shoe pitching and foot racing in the afternoon and a ; water carnival and a grand baJl at I night, it was decided. All farmers of the county, members mem-bers of the Utah Poultry Producers Co-operative Association, the Utah-Wasatch Utah-Wasatch Dairy Association, sugar beet growers and canning crop groups will be invited to participate in the outing and cooperate with arrangements. The big official dance at night will be a big feature with the regular regu-lar Geneva music and regular prices. The public is cordially invited. in-vited. The entire day's celebration is expected ex-pected to draw enormous crowds from all over the county. All local faa-m bureau members are urged to attend the outing and participate in the good time. An invitation is extended also to the general public. The Twenty-Fourth of July celebration cele-bration at Geneva was a big success suc-cess with hundreds of people visiting visit-ing the resort during the day and enjoying the numerous entertaining features and the bathing. The dance at night was one of the biggest dances of the season with an enormous enor-mous crowd in attendance. On Friday, July 27, the Oquirrah Stake Fathers and Sons outing; will be held. The Peay family will also hold their annual family reunion at the resort Friday. |
