Show Timpanogos Cave Open For Season Timpanogos Cave is now open, according ac-cording to an official announcement from those in charge. The snow has vanished from the roads in American Fork canyon and vegetation is at its prime. This cave "the great wonder of the West" is located in American Fork Canyon seven miles from the State highway, and can be reached from American Fork or Pleasant Grove over splendid roads. The Cave Camp at the foot of the trail that leads to the cave, is in itself a pleasant place to go spring water, lunch tables, shady nooks, camp stoves, swings and the sight of a number of deer can be seen quite frequently. The trail has been constructed by the Government, and is kept in good shape all the time. It can be traveled travel-ed with absolute safety. There have been from 15 to 20 thousand people visit this wonderful cave each year and no accidents whatsoever have occured. The Cave itself is about 800 feet into the north end of Timpanogos Mountain. Trails, bridges and steps in the cave make it pleasant for the aged as well as the young to go through! and observe the various forms of nature, consisting of stall-actites stall-actites and stallagnites in most any form of animal or bird life. Some of the notable formations include an teleph'ants parade, elephant heads, bird nests, snakes, chocolate fountain, and bridal chamber. These formations forma-tions are of different tints and colors, and each time one goes through the Cave he can see something new and different. The Cave is electrically lighted and provisions have been made so that large flood lights are used to show the Cave up to best advantage. Cool drinking water and mild drinks can be had either at the Cave or the Camp. Competent guides are provided to lead you and inform you of every detail. The small sum of 50c for adults and 25c for children is charged to pay for the guides and keep in repair the trail and Camp. This is a good place for a morn ing's breakfast, a noon luncheon, an evening's dinner or a week's vacation. vaca-tion.
