Show Poultry Day To Be Bigger And Better Than Ever i made. A meeting 13 being held next week, at which time full reports from the various committees will be made. Further details will be printed next week. 0 . v Progressing Rapidly Towards i nts of Poultry Day Wed-Say, Wed-Say, June 26: Full Days' Activities Ac-tivities To Be Featured. The various committees working ontbe details for the coming Poultry a TJav Wednesday, June 26, F0UD t tha? the work is well under 'Tand rapidly nearing completion. In indications point to a bigger and tetter celebration than staged in the tvro previous affairs. The festival this year will without a doubt be one of the most outstand-, outstand-, yearly celebrations in the state, African Fork Is now recognized " the leading poultry center not only m Utah but in the entire inter-mountain inter-mountain territory. Amusements galore are arranged or parade, sports, merry-go-round, ,erris wheel, ball games, day and Bight fireworks, airplane stunts, and all of those interesting carnival concessions con-cessions which go to make up a first class celebration. ' More than 1500 chickens will be used in sandwiches to appease the appetite of the thousands expected here that day. Much interest is already being shown in the Poultry Show to be conducted. This will be one of the outstanding features of the entire day. Fowls from all over the entire Btate will be shown In connection with the various demonstrations. A program will be "given early In the afternoon in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle, to which the Governor of Utah will be present. A chorus of 25 girls are preparing appropriate melodies which they will present in colorful costumes as a part of the program. Other Utah musical celebrities cele-brities are also being engaged for entertaining purposes. Perhaps the most looked forward to feature of the entire days' activities activi-ties will be the mammoth parade. Reports from this committee show that all the business houses are back lng this feature, and are already making preparations for their special spec-ial floats. The Ladies Literary Association have charge of the Queen's float, the American Fork Sororsis the Poultry float and the B. B. Ladies: the float "Miss American Ameri-can Fork." Full details on this feature fea-ture will be announced at a later date. The Queen contest already shows a lot of hot competition among the ranks of American Fork's pretty girls. The final contest will be staged stag-ed at a big dance (previous to the Poultry festival. The banquet plans are going forward for-ward nicely. The number has been limited this year to 300 plates. Those who make their reservations 8rst will be able to participate In tils treat. Further details will be given next week concerning this.
