Show Strawberry Day Program Ready June 11 Something Doing Every Minute of the Day. Eight Bands, Georgeous Parade, 1,000 Cases Of Berries Served Free, Ball Game, Horse Races, Rodeo and Many Other Attractions. pleasant Grove and vicinity is in readiness to entertain the state of Utah at its yearly Strawberry Festival next Tuesday, June 11th. The day's program is full of entertainment. People who have ' visited this festival each year come back ready to enjoy the iospiality of our citizens. Band concerts, georgeous parade, free berries, chicken dinner, grove programs, college circus, aeroplane j ejreus, ball game and other attractions, too numerous to mention TiU make up the day's festivities. MAMMOTH BEAUTY PARADE In this eighth mammoth beauty parade over one hundred business concerns of Pleasant Grove and Utah County will enter special floats. In addition the city and various town organizations will furnish special floats for the queen, and other dignitaries of the procession. The parade committee includes: H. C. Robertson, chairman; S. D. Moore, Jr., Irving Johnson, Clarence Hilton, Mrs. Mary Cooper, Miss Amy Cooper, Leeter Theabold, Nels Swenson, Swen-son, Hans Williamson and Vilace Radmall. Eight large bands will open the day's festivities with serenading, beginning be-ginning at 9:00 a. m. Mammoth Parade forms at 9:15 a. m. and begins be-gins the march at 10:00 a. m. commencing com-mencing from the tabernacle grounds going west onto Main Street. LINE OF MARCH OF PARADE Parade of over one hundred beau- tlful floats commences at corner one Hock west of Tabernacle (2nd East) Proceeds south to State highway, thence north-west aolng highway, ttnee north through Main street, thence west to Orem tracks, thence i wunter-march to place of beginning. |
