Show National Guards Home From Camp The members of the Lehi Service Battery, 22nd field artillery, Utah National Guard, returned to their homes here last Thursday, following follow-ing two weeks of extensive training at Camp W. G. Williams. Colonel L. H. Duffin, commander of the 145th field artillery, Utah national guard, and his staff arrived ar-rived in camp late Thursday to prepare pre-pare or the arrival Friday moriiing of the entire regiment. The regiment, composed of units from Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake City, Provo, Nephi, Bountiful and Manti. arrived in camp in sections. The first day was devoted to preparing the camp for the regiment's two-week two-week stay. Firing of the 75-millimeter guns began Saturday. First 37-millimeter problems were fired on the Cedar Valley range, a new area directly south of the camp proper that was first used by the guardsmen last summer. o |
