Show Last Rites For Mrs. Miller In 4th Ward Today Friends of Mrs. Catherine Rebecca Rebec-ca Jeffs Miller will pay last respects to her at funeral services to be conducted con-ducted Friday (today) at 2 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel. Mrs. Miller died Saturday at her home' here, of a heart attack. She was 83. Mrs. Miller was born at Oxfordshire, Oxford-shire, England, April 9, 1856, a daughter of William and Ellen Smith Jeffs. She came to this country in 1869 with her parents, the family settling in Evanston, Wyoming. After her marriage to George David Miller, they moved to Shoshone, Idaho, and then to American Amer-ican Fork in 1893, where they had since resided. Mr. Miller died March 25, 1925. Surviving Mrs. Miller are four sons, Louis and George Miller of American Fork; Fred and Addie Miller of Salt Lake City; three sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. L. R. Bartholio and Mrs. Bert Brown of Los Angeles; Mrs. Nellie Phillips of American FFork; a brother, Oliver Jeffs of American Fork; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. |
