Show o j j Cook's Ice Cream I Installs Modern Air-Conditioner A modern air-conditioning plant that will keep the building at a cool and refreshing temperature has been installed at Cook's Ice Cream company, com-pany, Manager Joseph Cook announces. an-nounces. The new air-conditioner will change the air in the building completely com-pletely every five minutes, pumping pump-ing in cooled and purified outside air in at a rate of 3500 cubic feet a minute. On the hottest summer days, the plant will maintain cool temperatures tempera-tures inside. Air is forced into the room like a cool breeze, providing excellent circulation. The plant itself consists of three large aspen-wood screens, which are kept moist by a small jet of water. Through these screens the special fan, run by an electric motor, draws the outside air. The air is cooled in passing through the screens, and is pumped into the room below. The air-conditioner is one of the first to be installed in American Fork. |
