Show Lehi Man Elected President Of Firemen's Ass'n. Thomas Powers, Lehi City fire chief, was elected president of the Utah-Juab Firemen's association at a convention held at Eureka Sunday. Other officers include: F. J. Han-nifan Han-nifan of Eureka, first vice president; Frank Sheann of Payson, second vice president; Ralph Nelson of Sprlngville, secretary; John Kinder of Sprlngville, treasurer; Charles W. Booth of Spanish Fork, chaplain. A program was lurnished by Eureka Eu-reka and after the meeting and program pro-gram the delegates were served a hot luncheon by the Eureka firemen. fire-men. Officers of the State Firemen's association were present and gave talks during the meeting. All delegates del-egates were urged to attend the Utah State Firemen's convention to be held at Vernal, August 3 and 4. Attending the meeting at Eureka from Lehi were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Powers, Mr. and Mrs. Afton Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson. |
