Show Creamery Starts Churning Butter In Local Plant The Mutual Creamery Company finished the instalation of the first 1 unit of butter machinery in the local creamery plant last week and churning got underway last Thursday. Thurs-day. Since that time from 800 to 1,000 pounds of butter have been churned dally at the plant. Building repairs ana machinery instalations are still underway here getting this plant ready to handle the full butter output of the Mutual Creamery plant at Salt Lake. When the second churn from the Salt Lake plant is installed here the output will be around 2,000 pounds daily. The present added operations at the local plant has necessitated the shifting of three men from the Salt Lake plant and when the additional equipment' is moved here it will mean more employes for this plant. The north milk loading platform is now being enlarged and inclosed to better facilitate the handling of milk and cream. |
