Show The last weekly drawing in the contest was held Friday afternoon cn the B-:nk corner. A huge crowd watched little Miss Geannea Baird dr',.w the two lucky tickets from the box. The holders of the tickets wore Mina Chilton, who won the $5.00 prize, and Miidrfd Peters, daughter of Mr. ar.d Mrs. James P: tens, who won the $2.50 prize. The members of the American Iegion Auxiliary held a meeting in the Legion Hall Monday night to select dciegates to attend the Legion and Auxiliary Convention in Price on August 5, 6 and 7th. The delegates chosen were Ethel Graff, Leah Greene, Lillie Beck, Florence Moss, Haydee Iverson, Priscllla Murdock and Nan Peck. Aletrnates chosen were, May Laur-son, Laur-son, Cora Barratt, Florence Chip-man, Chip-man, Ruth Parduhn, Mabel McNeill, Thelma Pulley and Thelma Larson. Tuesday morning about 4:30 two deer wore sren walking down the bed crook Just north of the Fourth ward chapel. FrancU Ab:l, who re-porti.'d re-porti.'d welng the deer, said that they were both bucks and one wai a wiven-polnter. They had evidently evident-ly followed the bed creek down from tho canyon. |
