Show o Conjoint Program Arranged For The Wards Special conjoint programs have been arranged by the officers of the Mutual Improvements in the four wards of American Fork. The M. I. A. in each ward has charge of the program for the first Sunday in each month. In the First ward for the August canjoint the members have outlined the following program which they will take to the Windsor ward. That ward will, in return send a program to the First ward. The First ward's program follows: Talk on "Clean Bodies", Orval Gunther; solo, Rulon Nicholes; trio, Beth Wanlass, Beth Cheever and Beth Rushton; violin duet, Norma Durrant and Lillian Seastrand; and a reading by Margaret Hogan. The Second ward will hold their meeting at Mutual Dell. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Durrant and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart will present a Hawaiian program. Several special musical numbers have also been arranged. ar-ranged. The Provo Sixth ward choir will present a musical program in the Third ward. This group is being brought here under the direction of Mrs. Faye Parker Loveless, who is the organist for the choir in the Provo ward. The organization consists con-sists of sixty members. Besides chorus numbers, solos, duets and trios will be presented. Stanley Peters will be the speaker speak-er in the Fourth ward. Special musical numbers will be given by Elaine and Laurell Miller, who will sing a duet; Virgil Jorgenson, who is to give an instrumental solo, Elaine Smith, a piano solo, Raymond Ray-mond Chadwick a vocal solo and a number by the First Year Beehive chorus. . -o |
