Show o The Ladies Literary club met Thursday at the home of Mrs. William Will-iam Thornton. The program consisted con-sisted of a vocal solo by Mrs. Edith Young, readings by Hannah Ayde-lotte, Ayde-lotte, solo by Mrs. Mae Halliday, the life sketch of St. Patrick given by Mrs. Maud Christensen. A report re-port of the projects of the club during dur-ing the last ten years was read by Mrs. Charles Walker the club secretary. secre-tary. Mi-s. Sadie Bromley paid special spec-ial tribute to Mrs. Rose Grant as the mother of eighteen children, and read a sketch of the life of Mrs. Grant. The hostesses Mrs. William Thornton and Mrs. Abe Gudmund-sen Gudmund-sen served a dainty lunch carrying out the theme of St. Patrick both in the lunch and the decorations. |
