Show Death Claims High School Student Howard Mangum Roberts, 23, sor r of William H. and Elodla Jane Man-gum Man-gum Roberts of this city, passec away in the Lehi hospital at 7 a. m Tuesday following an illness of aboul j two weeks. The young man firsl , was stricken with influenza whicr ' developed into pneumonia. ( He was born February 9, 1912, ir Salt Lake City but spent the majoi part of his life in Los Angeles. The t family came here four years ago on business reasons and remained tc make their home when they found ' the climate agreed with Howard who ' had suffered ill health for years. He improved greatly since coming here. Howard graduated from the L. D. S. Seminary here last spring and was a Senior in the high school from which he was to have graduated in May. He possessed a keen intellect and was a splendid scholar. Aside from his school activities he was very interested in his church wwk and was faithful in attendance at his meetings. Surviving are his parents and one sister, Mrs. Louise Smith of Provi dence, Rhode Island. Funeral services will be held ii the stake tabernacle at 3:30 p. m Sunday. Friends may call at th residence Saturday evening anc Sunday morning. |
