Show Junior High School Presents Operetta The Junior high school presented "The Gypsy Princess" Wednesday evening, February 27th, in the high school auditorium to a large appreciative ap-preciative audience. Those in charge of the production produc-tion were Ford M. Poulson, manager; man-ager; libretto, Viola West; stage and lights, George W. Larsen; dancing, danc-ing, Arvilla Clark, William Partington, Parting-ton, Lyean Johnson and Cyril Thome. Between the acts the Junior high orchestra gave the following numbers: num-bers: Heavy Artillery March, Golden Gold-en Days Waltz, Village Chimes and Junior High March. Miss Virginia Jacobs as Chonita was charming. Her beautiful voice and charming personality pleased the large audience- William West as Stefan, looked the part- His costume added to his character role. Rex Walker as Murdo was enjoyed. en-joyed. Bernice Wilson took the character part of the play, her build and costume made her part outstanding. out-standing. Her motherly attachment to the Princess made each character charac-ter more charming-. The Baron and his wife parts were taken by Richard Rich-ard Swenson and Ruth Robbins. .Gordon Wright as Konrad the admirer ad-mirer of the Princess, was well taken.
