Mrs. Florence Ellis McHan, returned return-ed Monday to her home in Twin Falls, Idaho, after a five weeks' visit with relatives here. Alma Richins of Mud Lake, Idaho, came to Pleasant Grove to attend the funeral Sunday of his mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Richins. Mr. and Mrs. William Partington, Mr-. E. A. Beck, Mr. Arnold Hendrick-son Hendrick-son and daughter Helen, were Salt Lake visitors Saturday. Wayne Gamett, Alva Jensen and Keith Jacobs left last Thursday morning for the Moapa valley where they received employment. .Mrs. Fred C. Shoell left Sunday for a two weeks' visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Wanlass, of Rodeo, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. The first grade children- under direction di-rection of their teacher, Miss Nichols, Nich-ols, visited the fire department hall Tuesday, where Chief J. Kemp explained ex-plained the use of the fire equipment to them. They were an interested group 'of youngsters. Dr. and Mrs. C. O. Jenson motored motor-ed to Moapa valley Saturday. On their return home they met severe weather and lots of snow and remained re-mained in Fillmore until Monday. Their car overturned but the family escaped with minor injuries. Harris underwent a very serious operation at the Aird hospital Friday. She is in a very serious condition. Bishop and Mrs. C. J. Cobbley motored bo Logan Wednesday and visited with their son, Harvey, who is attending the U. S. A. C. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harris, who have been living th3 past winter in Carbon county, returned to Pleasant Grove this week to make their home.
