Show a Sportsmen Now Have Complete Organization The organization of the American Pork Fish and Game Association has recently been completed and with a membership of thirty "live wires", the association expects to be able to accomplish a number of projects now underway. A membership drive is now on and the officers declare they will boost the total to one hundred before they are through. Elmer Chipman is chairman of the drive. The officers and committees of the association now are: President, A. W. Clyde; vice-president, Sidney Beck, secretary-treasurer, Wilson Cunningham; board of control, Donald Don-ald Barratt, George Pierce, Charles Anderson, Elmer Chipman and Clyde Durrant. Fish Committee, Donald Barratt, Fred Cheever and Howard Greene; i Bird committee, George Pierce, Sidney Sid-ney Beck and Leo Varney; Membership Mem-bership committee, Elmer Chipman and Thomas Hansen; Finance and Amusement committee, Charles Anderson An-derson and Harold Goode; Law Enforcement En-forcement and Big Game committee, Clyde Durrant, Lou Miller, Elgin Lee, A. W. Clyde, Ernest Hindley, Milton Adams, George Pierce and Albert Hansen. The association meets twice monthly, the second and fourth Monday nights, in the city hall. Application has been made to the Wasatch Fish and Game department at Heber for a pair of beavers to be ' planted in the American Fork canyon can-yon stream. It is expected should this be done that the animals will build a dam across the stream and retard the swiftness of the flow, making better conditions for the fish planted therein. 1 There is a move under way to have a committee from the three associations, associa-tions, American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Lehi, join together in inaugu- ' rating such measures as will make for better conditions for the sportsmen sports-men in the north end of the coun- 1 It has come to the attention of the local association) that some persons have been seen fishing in the factory fac-tory mill pond.
