New Ice Box Installed at Skaggs Market A new air-conditioned ioe box and refrigerator has been installed hi the Skaggs store during the past week. The new box, an 8x10 foot structure, struc-ture, has been built into the store at the northwest end. The box is kept cold and at an even temperature temper-ature by means of blocks of ice and an airplane propeller fan. The fan keeps the air in the box in perpetual per-petual motion. Through the installation of this new type of ice refrigeration Mr. Adamson has rescured for his store the latest methods of preserving meats and vegetables, he says. The new system used in the box keeps the food products at an even temperature tem-perature and instead of drying the meats and vegetables out it holds the moisture intact in the food stuffs. Self-service boxes for butter, cheese, milk and other perishable foods have been built into the front of the new box. A supply of meat and vegetables are held in the back compartment. o
