Show Pioneer Program Arranged For Sunday Instead of the usual Sunday School Sunday morning in the First ward the Adams Camp, assisted by the members of the American Fork Camp of the D. U. P., will present an unusual program. In commemoration commem-oration of the 24th of July, Pioneer Day, the services will take the form of an Historical Panorama. The children and grandchildren of the pioneers will review true incidents in the lives of their parents and grandparents. Original and new pioneer songs will be sung by the member's of the two camps, musical readings and responses will be given. The living pioneers of the town will be honored as special guests. Under the direction of the Sunday School superintendent, Jack Iverson, Iver-son, Elliott Lee and Frank Brown, a typical pioneer bowery will be built among the trees on the church lawn, where all will meet. Everyone Every-one is invited and especially asked to be on the grounds at 9:45 a. m. to enjoy a period of handshaking and general greetings. All members of both camps and any one else who has costumes are asked to come dressed in them. There will be an interesting display of pioneer articles and photographs. Through the courtesy of Ray Shelley Shel-ley a loud speaker will be installed. |
