Miss Irene Johnston returned to her home here Saturday after spending the winter in Fillmore where she taught school in the Millard Mill-ard County High School. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Holmstead announce the arrival of a baby boy, born May 15. Mrs. Holmstead, formerly form-erly Miss Alton Iverson, and the baby are in a Salt Lake hospital. Mrs. A. F. Gaisford. attended a bridge party at the home of Mrs. J. O. Meiling of Lehi, Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Storrs. and daughter, Francis, and Mrs. Storrs mother, Mrs. Gear, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Olsen. Mr. and Mss. Wendell Bush and baby of Eureka, and Mrs. Carl My-ens My-ens of Bingham, wese Sunday vis-itoss vis-itoss at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bush. Mr. and Mrs. John Swensen of Mink Creek, Idaho, were week-end guests at the home of Mr. Swen-sen's Swen-sen's sister, Mrs. C. J. Goodall, and family. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Grant, Bessie Robinson and Lillie Shafter motored to Copperton Wednesday evening and attended the graduation exercises exer-cises of the Bingham High School. Mrs. G. A. Anderson of Ogden is visiting this week-end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Spratley. She also attended the graduation exercises of her daughter, daugh-ter, Edna. A birthday dinner party honoring Mrs. John Ovard was held at her home Sunday. Places at table were laid for Dr. and Mrs. Kirk Lamb and family of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Bert Faddis, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Ovard and family, Miss Hazel Cob-bley Cob-bley and the honor guest of this city. |
