Show 0 Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nelson entertained enter-tained at a dinner Monday evening honoring the members of the high school track team. Places were laid for 38 boys. "Hap" Holmstead was the toastmaster and talks were given giv-en by E. Ray Gardner, D. Grant Ingersoll, Mr. Nelson and some of the boys. A most enjoyable time was had by all attending. Those of American Fork attending the funeral services of M. L. Scott held Saturday in Salt Lake were: President C. E. Young, Rulon Nich-oles, Nich-oles, Lois Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Sid-ney E. Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Sid-ney W. Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Em-ery Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nicholes, Mrs. Foster Nicholes, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Nicholes. The members of the Fourth ward Relief Society enjoyed a mothers and daughters day Tuesday at their regular meeting. The program as prepared by Mrs. M. H. Ingersoll was given as follows: Report of the book "Jayne Eyre" by Bronte, Miss Dorothy Grant; solo, "Perfect Day", Mrs. LaRue Morton; vocal duet by Dorothy Grant and Mrs. Alvin Mon-son, Mon-son, "We Love Our Work." The words of this song were composed by Mrs. Mary E. Abel to the music of Aloha and is published in the Relief Re-lief Society song book. |
