Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Mr. and Mrs. James C. Healey entertained en-tertained at a wedding reception Thursdav evening of last week in honor of their daughter Zora and Mr. Fen-en N. Sager of American Fork whose marriage took place in the Salt Lake temple the day previous. previ-ous. The ceremony was preformed by President Heber J. Grant. The bride was very beautiful in a gown of violet silk and carried a boquet of pink rosebuds. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Leland Beck, as matron of honor and Miss Amanda Aman-da Sager, Miss Mary Bates and Miss Alice Clark as bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his brother Elmo Sager, as best man. The evening eve-ning was spent in dancing and a short program of songs, etc. Dainty refreshments were served. A large number of friends and relatives attended. at-tended. The young couple received many beautiful and useful presents. The six wards of the stake are to be congratulated on the high class of road show acts which were given Monday evening in the Recreation Hall. Everyone was well pleased with each one of the acts and found it difficult to render a decision deci-sion as to the best. Alpine ward began a three-day ward Festival Wednesday afternoon. Dinner is being served each day and entertainments given each evening. A large attendance is expected. |
