Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Farr, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Farr and families of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Eliner Hatch and family of Holbrook, Arizona, Ariz-ona, were guests of the Farr family on Thanksgiving day. Mrs. Mary Jeppson returned Saturday Sat-urday from a ten days visit with her son, Henry, and family at Pay-son. Pay-son. She reports a very enjoyable visit. Monday ' afternoon The Second ward Amusement Committee is sponsoring a dance on Friday evening, December 1, at the Ward Amusement Hall. Married folks and young people will dance together to good music. Miss Edna Fugjal has accepted a position at the Utah Power & Light company office here. She takes the place of Mrs. Ethel Drysdale who recently resigned to go into business for herself. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Bigelow and baby of Wallsburg and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gillman and family were Thanksgiving dinner guests of their parents, Bishop and Mrs. David B. Thorne. Bishop and Mrs. David B. Thorne of the Lindon ward announce the engagement of their daughter, Mae, and George Jacklin of American Fork, the marriage to take place December 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Walker entertained at a family dinner on Thanksgiving day. The members and quilted two quilts for Mrs. Maggie Mag-gie Wright. Mrs. Wright has been ill for some time and needed extra bedding. ' Mrs. Archie Boren left Monday evening for Pheonix, Arizona, to attend the golden wedding anniversary anniver-sary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Price, also the wedding of their youngest son, Wendell Price. While in Pheonix, she will visit with her son, LaVell, who is doing missionary work in the California mission. She expects to be gone about ten days and visit with relatives rela-tives and friends. Miss Gennivieve Fugal has been initiated into two national Sororities Soror-ities that receive members for their scholarship and cerrecular activities. They are Phi Delta Pi, and Theta Alpha Phi. Miss Fugal has received re-ceived much popularity at the B. Y U for her scholarship and ability, abil-ity, to put over well the things she undertakes.
