Show Pneumonia Claims Local Man Gordon Boley Hansen, 44, son of Parley Hansen of this city died at the family residence at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday following a two days' illness ill-ness of pneumonia. Mr. Hansen suffered a stroke last March from which he never fully recovered and though able to be about, had not been in good health since then. The deceased was born in American Ameri-can Fork April 10, 1889, a son of Parley and Melissa Boley Hansen He spent the -major part of his life in this vicinity, following the occupation occu-pation of farming in his earlier life and later engaged in mining, working work-ing for a number of years in American Ameri-can Fork canyon. He was employed in California and Nevada during a few years. In 1915 he married Ruth Hedlund Hansen, widow of his deceased brother DeMont.. They became the parents of three children, a daughter daugh-ter and two sons. Surviving are his widow, a daughter daugh-ter Delno, two sons, Gordon Jr. and James L. and a step-son, DeMont and his father, Parley Hansen; also three brothers, Leslie Hansen of Los Angeles; Lloyd Hansen, Monti -cello, Utah; Mahlin Hansen, Indianapolis, Indian-apolis, Indiana; and two sisters, Mrs. Arsena Robinson of this city, and Mrs. Wanda Varney of Salt Lake. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p. m. in the Second Sec-ond ward chapel. Friends may call at the residence Saturday prior to 1:30 p. m. |
