Show Girls Receive Injuries Miss Edna Gillman was badly cut on the face and Mrs. Elmer Holda-way Holda-way of Vineyard had her ankle hurt, when cars driven by Mayor Lyean Johnson of Pleasant Grove and Reed Holdaway of Vineyard collided on a bad curve at Mesquite, Nevada, ; 50 miles south of St. George, j Both cars were badly damaged ' and the Johnson car had to be left I there. With Mr. Johnson were his I wife and two little children and the Misses Edna Gillman and Jennie Walker. They were returning from spending the holidays in California. Mr. Holdaway, who recently lost his father, was taking his mother to spend the winter -with him in Los Angeles, where he will attend a dental den-tal school. Bottles of milk packed near the baby of Mayor Johnson were shattered shat-tered but the babe and Mrs. Johnson, John-son, who were well wrapped, escaped any injury. Passersby took Miss Gillman and Miss Walker into St. George to the hospital, where it required eleven stitches to close the cut on her forehead fore-head and nose. TV |
