Show u Mrs. Burlin Driggs returned Monday Mon-day from a trip to St. George. Mrs. Althea Halliday of Provo, is visiting with relatives and friends in Pleasant Grove. Miss Edna Fugal and her Sunday School class enjoyed a swimming party at Saratoga Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ball attended the funeral of the small child of Mrs. Lucille Pierce Maag, at Vineyard, Vine-yard, Sunday. Mrs. Annie Holman was the guest of her son George and family on a camping trip in American Fork canyon last week. Miss Arvilla Clark was a guest of her sister, Mrs. Mae Grua and family, at Salt Lake City, from Saturday until Monday. Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Gotberg and Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Grenig of Salt Lake City, were guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robertson. Mr. and Mrs. William L. Van Wagoner Wa-goner and Mrs; Fred Houter were guests Friday and Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. John Boulter. Mr. and Mrs. Burlxn Dnggs announce an-nounce the birth of a grandson at the maternity home in Provo, Saturday at 8:35 a. m. The proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Brown. Mr and Mrs. Clifford T, Wrieht and family left Thursday for a motor trip to California. They expect ex-pect to be gone about ten days. Mr. and Mrs. George L. Smith and son, Don, and Mrs. Sadie Chandler left Friday for a trip through Glacier National park, and the northwest and down the California coast. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robertson, Mr. and Mrs. William Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Thorne were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Grenig of Salt Lake City, Tuesday evening. Mrs. Erma Keetch Robison and daughter, June, of Arizona, is visit-! visit-! ing indefinitely with her mother, I Mrs. Laura Keetch. i i I Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walker and daughter, Idella, and son, Wesley, enjoyed a fishing trip to Sevier county coun-ty the last of last week. They returned re-turned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Theven and son, Paul, of Eureka, California, are visiting with Mrs. Theven's mother, Mrs. Martha Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Berge and baby left Sunday for Pheonix, Ari-izona, Ari-izona, after visiting for the past two I months with Mrs. Berge 's father, Dr. B. C. Linebaugh and family. A group of the visiting teachers of the Second ward Relief Society were hostesses to the ward organization Tuesday afternoon. A program, social hour and refreshments were enjoyed. Ernest Smith returned Sunday evening from the Texas mission. He has been teaching school most of the time he has been located at Kel-sey, Kel-sey, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Kirk, Mrs. Eva Fage and Mrs. Vida Conway were in Salt Lake City Tuesday to attend the funeral of the infant son of Mrs. Annie Kirk BrimJey. |
