Show Campus Sprinkling System Completed The sprinkling system for the high school and community campus was completed last week. David Walker, city water superintendent, was in charge of the work with a group of men employed by Pleasant Grove City. This now places the campus in shape for seeding to lawns. The plan for beautification will be worked work-ed out. The work of caring for the plot will be a school problem. The water to keep the lawn, and perhaps flowers, will be furnished by the city. This improvement will add much to the beauty of the city. No public improvement ever put over for a citty has attracted as much, attention state-wide as the beautification: of our City park. A beautiful campus so close to the business district will add much to the beauty of our city. The barren ground has for the past two years been an "eye sore", to citizens living near it as well as a fine place for the wind to pick up dust and distribute it into nearby homes. If properly planted and taken care of this should be an asset to property owners in that vicinity as well as the entire city. o |
