Show Brent Ward to address Republicans February, 1989. The luncheon is entitled "A Day in Court with Brent Ward," as Ward will be speaking on some of his cases and experiences in court while serving as Attorney General. As the federal government's chief law enforcement officer in Utah, Ward focused the resources of his office on economic crime, drug trafficking, obscenity, drug abuse prevention in the school and the protection of archaeological resources. He also spearheaded efforts to strengthen Utah laws against criminal fraud, child sexual abuse and drug trafficking. Former U.S. Attorney General for Utah Brent Ward will be the guest speaker at the Spring Luncheon Lunch-eon of the Utah County Republican Women Monday May 8 at noon. The annual fund-raising event will beheld at the student center on the Utah Valley Community College Col-lege campus.
