The couple plans to marry May 2U Pleasant Living Jennifer Nickell to wed Michael Jensen in temple Ken and Darylene Nickell, Pleasant Grove, are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Michael Jensen, son of Larry and Janice Jensen, Heber. The couple will exchange vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Friday, May 5. The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that same evening from 7 to 9 at the Manila Stake Center, 105 W. 1800 North, Pleasant Grove. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Attending the bride will be Val, Denise, Jill, Alene and Natalie Nickell. Best man duties will be per-formed by Brian Jensen, with Derek Farr, Gary Meeks and Craig Jensen serving as ushers Pre-nupti- showers were hosted by Marcy Kirkham and Bonnie Cluff and Margo Lamoreaux. Special guests will be grand-parents, Nedra Nickell, Noma Bentley, Richard Bentley, Mr. and Mrs. Kmmett Cluff and Mr. and Mrs. Fldon Jensen. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. She is currently attending Utah Valley Community College and plans to continue her education in radiology. The prospective groom is a graduate of Wasatch High School and LDS Seminary. He served an LDS mission in New Zealand. Nicole Rowley to serve in Washington D.C. Mission rug Sister Nicole Rowley, daughter of Dudley and Lily Rowley, of Pleasant Grove, has been called to serve in the Washington D.C. North LDS Mission. She will be assigned to serve at the Washington Temple Visitors Center. She will enter the Mission-ary Training Center on May 17. Nicole will speak in a sacrament service Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the Manila Stake Center, 105 W. 1800 North, Pleasant Grove. An open house will also be held that same afternoon at the family home, 1211 N. 1200 West, Pleasant Grove. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Nicole is a 1986 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. Since then she has worked as a nanny twice; once in Connecticut, and most recently in the Washington D.C. area. She has also attended Utah Valley Community College where she recently completed an Associ-ate of Science degree. Friendship Quilting Club being fori A Friendship Quilters Club is being formed in Pleasant Grove. With the increasing size of the Utah Valley Quilt Guild it was thought that perhaps local groups would like to meet at their convenience each month on a more personal basis. The first meeting will be held May 9 at 10 a.m. in the little theater of the Pleasant Grove Library. This will give ladies an opportunity to choose a name for the new group, discuss the time schedules that would be best for them, and talk of projects they would like to have information about. There are over 185 members in the UVQC at this time and sometimes we are lost in the group. Often we are shy about asking questions or showing our own projects. Todd Dye, son of Roger Warren Dye of San Clemente, Calif, and Shelia S. Revie, San Clemente, Calif. May 6 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. A reception in their honor will be held that sarffe evening from 6 to 8 at the Pleasant Grove 7th Ward, 1250 E. 200 South. All friends and relatives are in-vited to attend. She has been studying accounting at BYU and minored in music. The prospective groom graduated from high school in northwest Michigan. He served two years in the U.S. Army and then served an LDS Mission in Mississippi. He has been studying sociology and criminal justice at BYU.
