Show Elvsium Club eniovs dinner, theater for 40 years and was founJ: August 24, 1949, in the 2" friendship, personal enlighten"!: and commnnitv c;.fa lenn,9 The Elysium Club of Pleasant Grove enjoyed a delightful opening social Wednesday evening at the Brick Oven after the club's summer sum-mer recess. Club president, Pam Cluff, presided, pre-sided, with birthday gifts handcrafted hand-crafted and presented by Betty Memmott. Following dinner, Elysium Ely-sium friends attended an excellent performance of "Life With Father" at BYU Pardoe Theatre, arranged by Vicki Young. New members Pam Taylor and Karen Beckstead were welcomed. This year's Invitation Chairman is Madalyn Backlund. Program Chairman Carolyn Jacob arranged the 1989-90 agenda, including a craft night, the annual "Sub For Santa" project by Salisbury, Salis-bury, Janet Schiller's book review, spring elections pot luck, and the Mother's Day luncheon. The October Octo-ber meeting will be held at the home of Darlene Pace and will emphasize quality family life. Elysium Club concluded its spring session with the traditional Mothers Tea at B.Y.U., chaired by Eva Ercanbrack, with musical entertainment by sisters Jenny Van Orman and Pam Beagley, and a humorous reading by Janet Schiller.
