Ostler, son of Floyd and Laural Ostler, Pleasant Grove, Friday, Oct. 6, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her fiance graduated from Pleas-ant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He served an LDS mis-sion in the Philippines. He will graduated from Utah Valley Com-munity College in the spring. The couple will make their first home in Salt Lake City. Club president, Pam Cluff, pre-sided, with birthday gifts hand-crafted and presented by Betty Memmott. Following dinner, Ely-sium friends attended an excellent performance of "Life With Father" at BYU Pardoe Theatre, arranged by Vicki Young. New members Pam Taylor and Karen Beckstead were welcomed. This year's Invitation Chairman is Madalyn Backlund. Program Chairman Carolyn Jacob arranged the 1989-9- 0 agenda, including a craft night, the annual "Sub For Santa" project by Salis-bury, Janet Schiller's book review, spring elections pot luck, and the Mother's Day luncheon. The Octo-ber meeting will be held at the home of Darlene Pace and will emphasize quality family life. Elysium Club concluded its spring session with the traditional Mothers Tea at B.Y.U., chaired by Eva Ercanbrack, with musical entertainment by sisters Jenny Van Orman and Pam Beagley, and a humorous reading by Janet Schiller. Elysium Club has been active Local Senior Citizens invite all ages to participate in Rose Parade excursion Pleasant Grove senior citizens and any other interested persons are invited to join with the Lehi seniors for an exciting tour, which includes the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif., from Dec. 28 to Jan. 4. Ruth Hassenfritz, Pleasant Grove Senior Citizen Director, said that all ages are welcome to participate in this tour, not just senior citi-zens. Highlights of the tour will be stops at Las Vegas, Catalina Is-land Cruise, Disneyland, Beverly Hills, Knotts Berry Farm, the world famous Rose Parade, San Diego City tour, Old Town, Tijuana, Huntington Estate, plus much more. Tour prices per person are $535 for double occupancy, $510 for triple occupancy, and $705 for single occupancy. A deposit of $100 per person is due upon registration and the final payment is due by Nov. 21. No refunds will be made after Nov. 21, except in case of emergency.
